SFG Summer Rose represents the joining of two distinguished Gypsy lines—the Rose line and that of Gypsy Gold’s Latcho Drom. Summer upholds the quality that has come to be expected from the offspring of both parents, both traditional, larger Gypsies. Physically, Summer appears to be the true heir to the Rose line, even possessing the one blue eye and the same white tip of her tail that Rose has. Like Rose, the black in her coat is nonfading, but unlike Rose, her tobiano pattern is equal parts black and white and is almost uniform on both sides of her body. From Latcho, sire of many exceptional foals, Summer appears to have inherited her very sweet head. Although sometimes a filly of very definite opinions, Summer is even tempered and tractable.
