Although he is a Quarter Horse, Peppy is SFG’s honorary Gypsy Horse. He was trained in Western riding but has adapted to Hunt Seat nicely and is also learning dressage. He was his owner’s first real horse. Peppy is extremely playful and his favorite game is “Wild Stallions of the Appalachians” played with another gelding. This involves a lot of rearing, mock biting, and falling through fences in slick weather. His exploits have landed him in a variety of odd places. The most unusual of these was a watering trough into which he jumped.
