Padparadshah, also known as June Bug because she is so cute, is the daughter of Nobby, Michael Vine's spectacular stallion. The word “padparadshah” means “lotus” in Sinhalese and is the name of a rare and beautiful bicolor sapphire which is both orange and pink at the same time. June Bug's coat is a rich chestnut with purplish highlights.

June Bug was Reserve Champion Mare at the 2006 Ohio State Fair Gypsy Vanner Horse Show. She now resides in California at Gaelic Farm, where she has just produced a lovely colt by Gaelic Farm's lovely stallion Gaelic Dancer. She is foal to Dancer for a 2009 foal. Photos of her 2008 foal are forthcoming.
