SFG Hero is The Rose’s sixth foal and only her second colt. Prince Charming, sired by Sid’s Good Stallion and currently standing at stud at Freelands Gypsy Horses, was her first colt. For years, Black Forest Shires, her importer, used The Rose’s photograph on its site to illustrate what a really good Gypsy-bred horse should look like. Hero has inherited his mother’s extremely kind temperament as well as her classic conformation and her one blue eye. Very little fazes this little guy; should someone choose to use him as a trail horse, he would be a superb one. His projected height is around 15 hands.
